Joining us with a fresh mix and some in depth questions is DJ and producer Tobi Kramer. Tobi joined SNOE with his track “Steep Slope” as part of the last SNOEflakes, a track that quickly garnered support and appraisal from some of the biggest artists in the scene. <\/h2>\n

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard you before?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s Tech House with influences from various musical cultures. A brass section, a guitar or a rap vocal can be part of a song.<\/p>\n

How do you get into a creative flow?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like mornings and coffee. That\u2019s the best condition to get into it. For some inspiration I like to listen to new music on Beatport or SoundCloud.<\/p>\n

How do you stay focussed in a world of constant distraction?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I try not to spend too much time on social media. It\u2019s a time eater.<\/p>\n

We love your new release. What was your inspiration for the track?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m very pleased.
Honestly the first draft came up in the very beginning of 2020. A few weeks before I was at Watergate, Berlin as a guest and Sven Va\u0308th was playing there. It was a sick set I was really inspired by.
As so often it remained just an idea, 3 years nothing happened to it. But someday I got back to the project and continued working on it. Finally “Steep Slope” was born.<\/p>\n

What is your favourite toy for making music?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s FXpansion Geist2. I love it when it comes to programming beats.<\/p>\n

Favorite release at the moment & of all times?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite release at the moment is Raw Grooves Vol. 6 on Solid Grooves Raw.
My favorite release of all times is such a hard question. There are too many great releases, I can\u2019t name one favorite.<\/p>\n

What can we expect from you in the near future?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m always working on new stuff. Watch out for more new songs.<\/p>\n
