It has a somewhat minimal feel, is always melodic, and sits somewhere between a listening experience and the dancefloor..<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>2) What, for you, is the purpose of art?<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>Art is so incredibly diverse. Sometimes it points a finger at something. Sometimes it is uncomfortable, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet. It reveals our inner selves and transports emotions. And sometimes simply helps us get through the day.<\/p>\n<p>For me, it is about a certain feeling or mood that is created and transported. What was your inspiration for the EP?<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>New productions always start with a jam session in the studio. Sometimes it\u2019s a beat from a drum machine; other times, it\u2019s a sample that grabs me and gets manipulated. With &#8220;Savvy,&#8221; it was the vocal which reminded me a bit of Daft Punk along with the minimal beat that runs through the track.<\/p>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><strong>4) What kind of gear tends to spark ideas for you, and does that change what kind of track you end up writing?<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>I work a lot with Elektron drum machines, combined with a Moog bass synth triggered by a sequencer. Nowadays, sharing music is much faster and easier, though this does lead to an oversaturation of music.
