One of the hottest new names in the US joined SNOE with a bang. The track immediately caught our attention and we had to get him on board. We are of course talking about Lubelski!<\/h1>\n

SNOEflakes #6 brings a top-notch selection of artists to the table, and this time it is a solid mix of already known faces and new additions to the label. First off is Lubelski with \u201cJust Business\u201d. This guy has been making waves all over the US lately with his catchy, groove driven sound, and it was just a matter of time before we needed to bring him into the family. \u201cJust Business\u201d is a copious tune filled to the brim with acid inspired synths, the hypnotic vocal elements and playful percussions ready to take over the dance floor. Ahead of the release tomorrow we asked him a few questions. You can read what he had to say and listen to the exclusive pre-listen of “Just Business” below.<\/h3>\n

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard you before?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m inspired a ton of different kinds and genres of music, so I\u2019d say simply my music is eclectic and psychedelic.<\/p>\n

\"\"How much time do you spend in the studio?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At least 6-8 hours a day. I treat it like a day job!<\/p>\n

What is your favourite toy for making music?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been building out a new modular rig, which has some really sweet stuff from Intellijel, Make Noise, Malekko Heavy Industry, and a few others. It\u2019s been very fun to just hang out and jam out on sounds, then come back and chop em up.<\/p>\n

With whom would you like to spend time in the studio?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I usually just spend time with my cats in the studio, but if I were able to work with one person in the studio, I think it would be Tiga or Four Tet. I think they both have brilliant minds when it comes to what makes a great record.<\/p>\n

What is the one thing you can\u2019t be without in the studio?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My Dave Smith OB-6. It makes whipping up baselines and sounds so easy.<\/p>\n

And what is the one thing you do not want in your studio?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a Moog Sub37 that I rarely use nowadays. Would love to pawn that off and get some more modules for my rig.<\/p>\n

What are your guilty pleasures?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jazz and experimental electronic\u2026 Charles Mingus, Francis Bebey, and Aphex Twin<\/p>\n

How would you describe the scene where you live?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Los Angeles is an incredibly unique place for dance music right now. We have so many legends and up and coming talents here, it\u2019s hard not to find some great show happening on the weekend.<\/p>\n

Any p<\/strong>\"\"lace you would like to play that you haven\u2019t been yet?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I would really really love to play in Berlin! So many amazing parties there, from what I\u2019ve heard.<\/p>\n

What do you drink when you play?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lately, just water. I figured since people come to see me play, I should be at my best before I start partying. My poison of choice would be Mezcal though!<\/p>\n

How do you balance music and everyday life?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I set hours for myself to work and hours for myself to just relax. I cant work on my off hours, this gives me some time refresh.<\/p>\n
